Terms of Service

I. What this service is

This is a personal SMS automation system operated by Chase Williams for my own use. The system sends automated notifications and decision prompts to my own mobile number via Twilio, a third-party SMS carrier. This is not a commercial service. It is not available to third parties. No party other than me is a recipient of messages sent through this system.

II. Operating rules

Because I am both the operator and the sole recipient, these terms serve as a record of the rules I follow in operating the system.

• Messages are sent only to mobile numbers I have explicitly configured in the system.
• Message frequency varies based on automation triggers. On a typical day I receive fewer than 100 messages. Volume can be higher or lower depending on active automations.
• I honor opt-out immediately. If I reply STOP to any message, the system stops sending and confirms the unsubscription in one final message. I can reply START to resubscribe at any time.
• The system is used only for personal task management, household reminders, software build notifications, and automation decision prompts. I do not use it for marketing, solicitation, or any PHI (Protected Health Information, meaning health data tied to an identifiable individual under HIPAA, the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).

III. Message and data rates

Standard SMS rates set by my mobile carrier apply to messages I receive from this system. I am responsible for any such charges under my own carrier plan.

IV. Twilio as the underlying carrier

Twilio, Inc. provides the SMS delivery infrastructure for this system. Twilio's own Terms of Service (available at twilio.com/legal/tos) also apply to message delivery.

V. No warranty

This system is provided as-is, for personal convenience. I make no warranty that it will operate without interruption or error.

VI. Limitation of liability

Because this system has no commercial relationship and no third-party recipients, the maximum liability of Chase Williams arising from the operation of this system is zero dollars ($0.00).

VII. Changes to these terms

If I make material changes to these terms, I will post the updated version here at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.

VIII. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States of America.
