Privacy Policy

I. Who I am

My name is Chase Williams. I operate a personal SMS automation system that sends automated notifications and decision prompts to my own mobile number. This site exists to document how that system handles data. It is not a commercial service, and I do not collect data from site visitors.

II. What this policy covers

This policy covers only my personal AI automation system, which sends SMS messages to my own mobile number via Twilio (a third-party SMS carrier). It does not cover any business I work for or any other service. Some message content may include natural-language calendar strings or task labels that reference names such as "Brightree" or "MDS." Those references are personal task descriptions generated by my local automation tools. They are not customer data, patient data, or records from any third-party business system, and they do not represent any affiliation between this personal system and those organizations.

This site does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any form of analytics. It is a static HTML site, and it does not collect visitor data.

IV. How data is stored

All data is stored locally on my personal Mac mini in SQLite audit log files and plaintext configuration files. The operating system's built-in encryption (Apple FileVault) protects data at rest. Credentials, such as API keys, are stored in the macOS Keychain. No data is uploaded to a cloud database or shared storage. Twilio, as the SMS carrier, retains delivery records per their own privacy policy (available at twilio.com/legal/privacy).

V. Who has access

Only I have access to this data. I have no employees and no subcontractors with access to these records. Twilio has access to message delivery metadata as the carrier of record. No other third parties have access.

V-B. Mobile messaging and SMS opt-in data

Mobile opt-in information, including my mobile phone number and my consent to receive SMS messages from this system, is not shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes or for any other purpose. This information is used solely to operate the personal notification system described in this policy. No mobile opt-in data is sold, rented, or transferred to any outside organization.

VI. How I opt in

I opt in by texting the keyword START to the toll-free number associated with this system from my enrolled mobile phone. The system responds with a confirmation message that identifies the sender, describes the message types I will receive, and provides opt-out instructions. That exchange constitutes my documented affirmative consent to receive messages from the system. Message frequency varies, typically 5 to 50 messages per day, and may reach up to approximately 100 messages per day during active automation cycles. Msg and data rates may apply.

VII. How to opt out

I can reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe. The system will send one confirmation message and then stop sending. I can reply START at any time to resubscribe. This is honored immediately by the system.

VIII. PHI is not used in this system

PHI stands for Protected Health Information, meaning health data tied to an identifiable individual, as defined under the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). This personal automation system is not used for any PHI. It handles only personal task management, household reminders, and software build notifications. It is hard-walled off from any business systems that handle health data by design.

IX. Children

This system is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

X. Changes to this policy

If I make material changes to this policy, I will post the updated version here at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States of America.
